Independence from advertisers
No advertiser, affiliate partner or ad network reviews content before publication. Nobody buys a position in the comparison table, a rating, or the removal of a criticism. AdsCompass is a paying commercial partner and the guide still states plainly that its optimisation is manual and that PropellerAds and RichAds ship stronger automated bidding — which is an argument for paying a higher minimum elsewhere. That sentence stays whether or not it costs a signup.
Sponsored posts are not accepted. Neither are paid links, paid guest posts, or requests to soften an existing claim in exchange for a better commercial rate. Full commercial terms are set out in the affiliate disclosure.
Sourcing standard
Technical claims resolve to the organisation that owns the technology, not to an ad network's blog. Browser behaviour comes from Chromium, WebKit and Mozilla. Protocol behaviour comes from the IETF and the W3C. Commercial claims come from platform documentation and are labelled as vendor-stated wherever the vendor has an interest in the figure. The full hierarchy, including why competitor reviews are excluded outright, is on the review methodology page.
Statistics carry their date. A 2019 telemetry figure is published as a 2019 telemetry figure, with a note on why it still holds. An undated statistic circulating without a traceable origin does not get published here, however widely it appears elsewhere and however convenient it would be.
Corrections
Errors get fixed rather than quietly deleted, and nothing is removed to hide that it was ever there. A factual correction is applied to the page and the verification date is updated; where the correction changes the meaning of a claim rather than tidying a detail, the change is noted on the page itself.
Send corrections through the contact page. Anything supported by a primary source is acted on quickly. Anything supported only by an assertion gets a reply asking for the source, which is the same standard applied to the site's own claims.
Dating and updates
Every page carries a verification date. Network pricing and formats are re-checked on a schedule, because minimums change without announcement. Browser enforcement is re-checked whenever a vendor ships a material change, since that is the fastest-moving part of this subject and the part most likely to make older advice wrong.
Use of AI tools
AI tools are used for drafting support, structural editing and consistency checking. They are not used to generate facts. Every figure, date and document reference on this site was verified against a primary source by a person before publication, and a named human author is accountable for all of it — see Christoph Trappe. An article assembled from a model's recollection would fail this site's own sourcing rules, which is why nothing here is produced that way.
Scope and limits
This site publishes information for advertisers, not financial, legal or investment advice. Buying traffic carries commercial risk, and what a campaign returns depends on your offer, your targeting and your tracking far more than on any network's stated averages. The formal position is in the terms of use; reader data is covered by the privacy policy. Background on why the site exists at all is on the about page, and the guide itself is here.
